The town is famous for its long-standing spa tradition, medicinal mineral water springs all set in the valley surrounded with a beautiful nature inviting for quiet and peaceful walks or hikes. Luhacovice also offers regular cultural and social events in number of its attractive venues as well as countless sports possibilities. There is a large recreational dam, swimming pool and aqua-park, tennis and squash courts, fitness centres, mini golf, bowling, cycle hire, etc. For winter sports there is a ski-lift equipped ski slope walking distance behind the hotel and kilometres of cross-country skiing tracks.
Hotel was built in 1989 as a three star hotel right in the centre of Luhacovice. Since the beginning of 2012 the hotel is not in service. The hotel can offer a wide range of services for all age groups, family holidays or spa treatment rests. There is a modern relaxation wellness centre equipped for a whole range of spa and body treatment procedures.
The hotel offers 33No double rooms ans 4No single rooms, all en-suite and equipped with TV, SAT, radio, telephone and a mini-bar. Therefore the capacity is 70 beds with optional extra beds. (Also, there is a study in place proposing a solution for 128 beds.)
Overall built-up area is 1 431 m2.
Other main features:
- large congress hall equipped with a large projector and sound system able to comfortably cater for 70 people, ideal for hosting events like company training days, courses, presentations but also weddings and similar.
- Restaurant and Bar with the capacity for 70 guests, serviced by a large kitchen (giving potential to increase the size of the restaurant that it can cater for). The restaurant also benefits from an outdoor terrace.
- Modernised utility room. (the modernisation of the utility room resulted in freeing some space (cca 500m2) in the attractive part of the hotel, now available for future use, open possibilities)
- Parking – hard standing parking secured with a collapsible barrier and CCTV. Cleverly positioned to allow guests to enter the 3rd floor directly from the parking area.
Overall the hotel is made of two interconnected parts:
- ´accommodation part´ - the right hand side ´6 floor tall´ part (1-2 floor: reception, spa areas, congress hall, coffee bar, covered by winter garden creating a two floor gallery, the hotel access is barrier free; 3-6 floor: guest rooms, the 6th floor has an outdoor terrace with a lovely view of the town and surrounding nature. All services by a lift with an emergency staircase in place.)
- ´technical and social support´ part – the left hand side ´3 floor tall´ part (1st floor: storage and technical support areas, 2nd floor: restaurant, kitchen and summer terrace. 3rd floor utility rooms, etc.)
